so i was playing with my friend the other day and this happend

this deserves a lot more notes than what it has and i am audibly wheezing
i see ao3 still hasn’t fixed its issue with random spaces between italics and punctuation
i am genuinely attempting to get into twitter and make some writer friends, but for some reason 70% of the tweets I find when typing “fanfic” are kpop fans
bottom line is: if you’re into twitter and would like to befriend me, please do so because i’m not sorting through a thousand kpop fics

Except I opened the doc, realised I wrote something, but can’t remember what pairing I was going for.
Therefore! I’m asking whoever’s online and interested in helping a poor writer choose one of the Love Square’s pairing for the new chapter!

Hmmmm, well it’s a little over 200 words. I know what the pairing was about, but I can’t remember what side of the square I was going to focus on for the chapter (for example, should I make it a flashback or an actual scene)

I guess you’re talking about that “Stop americanising ML” post, right? God is it old. But I do recall I never mentioned AUs.
Of course, if anyone sets Miraculous Ladybug in America, they are more than free to do whatever they want with the characters! But if it’s set in France, a bit of research is, I think, required. Out of respect for French people and their culture.
It’s just a matter of respect, and people realising that what might seem like little pointless things for them, well… Isn’t always little pointless things and can vary in importance depending on the country and context. That was the only point of my post, though I do recall it being pretty salty lol
If anything, that post did lead the creation of this one blog which actually explains a bunch of things about French culture and helps clean up all misunderstandings about France! I’m kind of drifting off but yeah, to answer your anon: As long as it’s set in an American AU, there’s no reason to limit yourself.

You don’t fucking need a deep, metaphysical reason to dislike a ship. You can dislike something just because it doesn’t jive with you but that doesn’t make it inherently problematic.
